FREE/REDUCED LUNCH-

Forms that provide the guidelines for free and reduced lunch are sent home the first day of school for parents to complete. Each student who was on the free/reduced lunch list last year, must have a newly completed, approved lunch application turned in within the first 30 days of school in order to receive free or reduced lunches for this year. New students applying for free or reduced lunches will need to pay for lunches eaten in the cafeteria before their form is approved.

ONLINE FORM

COLLECTION OF LUNCH MONEY-

The cafeteria is responsible for collecting all money. Please make checks payable to "Abney Elementary Cafeteria." Please send each child's money in a separate envelope to his/her teacher. The envelope must be labeled with the child's name, grade, teacher's name, and cafeteria I.D. number. Lunch money must be sent on Mondays and Thursdays. All students should maintain a positive balance in their lunch account. Charging lunches is not allowed. Payment may be by the week, month, or longer if desired. The cafeteria must be notified of overpayments before the end of the school year in order to issue a refund.

EXTRA INFORMATION-

No canned drinks are allowed in the cafeteria.

**Returning students need a current (new) PRESCRIPTION MODIFICATION FORM filled out and signed by a physician for students who need diet modification based on a medical condition
